For every South African school
EduSpot brings schools, teachers, parents and students together – from the first day of school to the last day of matric. Private messages, safe pick-up, merit points, a student app and a lifelong photo album, all in one simple app.
A private inbox between school, teachers and parents. No WhatsApp groups, no lost messages.
Diary cards, merit points and milestones so parents see every win – big or small.
News, events, permission slips and emergency alerts – with read receipts.
Allergy alerts, medication logs, incident reports and safe QR pick-up.
Why schools love it
Every authorised person gets a QR card with their photo. Teachers scan it before a child is released, and every release is logged.
Teachers share photos straight to each child's private album, neatly arranged by date and kept safely in the cloud.
Messages stay inside EduSpot – fast, free and secure. Teachers can set do-not-disturb hours.
With a parent's permission, students log in with their lifetime student code to see their classes, teachers, points and digital student card.
Print laminated student cards with photo and QR. Teachers scan a card to give points, take a photo or message the parents.
One tap after scanning a card. Parents are told straight away, and the office is alerted at the limits you set.
The photo album
From finger-painting in Grade R to the winning try in matric: teachers snap the moment and it goes straight into your child’s own private album, neatly arranged by date. Go back two years and it’s still there. Add your own photos too, and invite the grandparents – free.
How it works
We set up your school, your teachers and your own mini-website within a day.
Teachers register on their phone and the school accepts them with their teacher code.
Parents get an invite, add their pick-up people and medical details, and install the app.
Messages, photos, points and safe pick-ups – all in one place.
Safety first
Parents add everyone who may collect their child – with a photo, ID number and vehicle registration. Each person gets a QR pick-up card. Teachers scan it, see the photo, and only then release the child. Every pick-up is recorded.
Every school also gets a one-page website at eduspot.co.za/your-school with an online waiting list.
